how to install a new harddrive
first back up all your stuff, like in the format section without the formatting. first
unplug the system. rub your hands on the outside case to remove any static.
take off the case and remove the old harddrive anywhere from 1 to 4 screws
holding it in usually 4. unplug the power cord from the back sometimes thats
hard to remove and then take out the link cable the big rectangle one. put your
new harddrive in, put the cable back on and the power cable, and the screws
back in. most bios already recognizes the harddrive if not the harddrive came
with a installation disk. insert that and reboot the system it will install it to your
bios. then install windows.
