dittmerdans programs this is a few windows programs i made. direct IP chat is a server/client for connecting directly to another computer and chat. it has a aol gui feel.. Second is based off direct IP chat but this is a server you run on some computer and a client others connect too.. for a chat room.. and the third is micro mpThree it is a very small program uses hardly no computer resources.. it always stays on top of all windows so its always there.. about a inch size gui... both tested on windows 95/98/me/xp.. dittmerdans first program this is my very first program, i just started learning c++ 2 days ago when i made this 2/15/2004.. it calculates sales tax, loan payments, interest, converts feet to meters and yes it gets the very front line of all these great programs down below it because i made it.. so it is special.. *dont work on windows xp* it is a ms-dos program.. you can view the source code here. i will soon be making windows programs =) hopefully... Windows Utilities testdisk this program saved my life once. i went to format my drive to reinstall windows. and i realized my usb external harddrive was turned on. and i had formated the wrong harddrive. rut roh i lost years apon years of work and downloaded material. this program restored the whole drive and every file. in about 1 minute. it is free and open source. virtualdisk this is a free program to make virtual disk's. a virtual disk is a drive letter for a perticular folder on your drive. its a easy way to organize things. justzipit just zip it is a freeware zip program. not shareware like winzip.. gunzip this is freeware its a zip program, opens up tar.gz files.. compatible with many OS print screen this is a free enhancement service for the print screen button on your keyboard.. when you press print screen it will save into the directory you choose in a high quality jpeg format.. freemeter FreeMeter watches all your crap.. every program ran.. every site went to everyfile opened downloaded.. its tha shaznit submitted: by CrashDosOverRide.. scandisk pro this is a free hard disk scanner and repair program. stop using winblows one that dont even work half the time anyways. openoffice open office is a free office suit.. like microsoft office.. it can use alot of microsofts file types... its pretty cool.. oxd movie organizer oxd movie organizer "moviesorganizer.com" is a freeware movie organizer its what i used to make my movie list to organize my movies. imagecutter 2.5 imagecutter cuts images files up like freddy krugger.. so you can fit large ass images onto disks.. gksplit 2.1 gksplit cuts large files up. higher then 4 gb files. into small files so you can put on floppy or cd rom. and it also creates a exe file, that will reassemble it on the others pc. they wont need to install gksplit. acdown acdown is a freeware automatic computer shutdown. say you download at night and you want to cut the phone lines off for in the morning. i did not make it but i have it downloading from my site i got his consent. his website was http://www.mamut.com\acsoft but its now a dead link.. guess his company did not hit it off.. his email was acsoft72@hotmail.com he had this program in spanish. the one i got is in english. He made it for me along time ago.. when i was 10 i think. fast open fast open is freeware puts a icon on your system tray you can put your favorite programs on there rmssaver rms saver is a freeware personalized screen saver maker put what ever pictures in it you want.. rambooster rambooster is freeware runs on system tray and monitors your ram. optimizes it so your pc runs faster. auslogics disk defrag this is a freeware disk defragmenter. it will make your pc run alot better. less crashes, less errors it will prolong the life of your harddrive if you do this regularly. and make pc run faster. microsofts defrag sucks ass. but when has microsoft made anything good? dir printer this is a freeware directory printer. what it does is make a printable document. listing every file and folder in your directory you choose. like if you want to send a client a list of all their files. or to send a boss. slipstreamer this is a freeware program. if you downloaded a bunch of windows updates etc. you can create a new windows installation cd with all the new updates bundled with it. no-file-recovery this is a freeware program to make it not possible to recover deleted files. when you first delete something it actually stays on drive. it just deletes the structure. it stays there until its over written. well this program fills up harddrive with useless data. so nothing can be recovered. power delete this is a freeware program to delete files so they wont be recovered. it scrambles the coding and adds bs to the file then it deletes the file. so not even a byte of the original data can be recovered. advanced windowscare this is freeware. it is used to clean registry out. and to help optimize your windows platform pc. print2pdf this is a freeware program that will allow you to print from any page. and it will save it into a pdf file. to open in adobe reader or other compatible applications. atomic time synchronization this is a freeware program that will sync your time to atomic time on your computer. someone was having problems with their clock, windows was setting the clock 1 hour ahead each time he got on computer. so i found this program for them. add folder to mycomputer this is a freeware program that will allow you to add any folder or program to mycomputer or your control panel. plancoin this is a freeware program that runs in the background and with a single key press or a key combination like ( alt+H ) will hide all open windows on your computer from prying eyes. numpad mouse this is a freeware program that lets you control your mouse using your numpad arrow keys. joymouse turn your joystick into a mouse. great for using a joystick on a game that dont support joysticks. tweakui this is a free utility to customize your windows how you want it. alot of very cool options. path copy this utility adds two things to your windows explorer. one is copy path. all you do is highlight a folder and click file and copy path. and it will copy the path to clipboard. its very handy. for example ( C:/folder/file.ext ). and it adds ms-dos prompt, to open a msdos prompt to that folder. virtuawin this adds multiple desktops on a windows machine. just like linux does. the default configuration sucks. so after you install it. double click on the icon on the startbar. and in the general tab put a check next to enable desktop wrapping. then label every desktop you want. you can have up to 20. where it says window configuration. change both to change to windows desktop. and only check Access. and uncheck the rest. from user interface. and it works the same as linux. and also check out the modules on same site. I like the cooldesk view module the best. besure to download that too. multimonitor this is a freeware program that allows virtual desktops for dual monitors or more. up to nine Internet/Intranet Programscoreftp.com this is the best freeware ftp client. it has SFTP (SSH), SSL, and TLS support. it is a very secure and fast ftp client. just drag whole directory trees. and your whole site is uploaded in minutes. ftpx.com freeware ftp client its interface is like windows explorer.. filezilla FileZilla is a great freeware ftp client and its also a very good ftp server as well... sdp downloader this is a freeware program that allows you to download media files from a website that are protected by mms protocols. submitted by: druid icechat.net freeware irc client. I think this is just about the best, easiest to use and setup.. and very easy on the eyes gui.. not alot of options like mIRC but who needs bots and flooders.. that bs is just annoying anyways.. sync & go this is a freeware file and folder synchronization program. it has ftp support. so you can backup anywhere in the world. thunderbird email client this is a freeware email client, from the same makers of firefox web browser. it is very secure. stop using outlook express. flashspace this has 50 megabytes free of online storage space. it puts a drive letter accessible by windows explorer. a good place to put all your passwords. =) j.k but it wouldent be bad for simple stuff to back up. maybe webpage files. misc pictures documents.. etc multicomm 3.0 this is a freeware dial up networking software.. two dial to another computer to play games, trade files, chat, or to remotely control a pc.. mailbox this is a free open source mass mailer. its run off web based. so it is very easy to control. and even use it over internet or lan. used for sending out mailing list's to your users. (TCP/IP) Serversabyss http server this is a very easy to setup web server to host your own website, from your own computer. apache http server this is a http server that most professional hosting sites use to host files. It can be harder to setup. but has tons of options. guildftpd ftp server this is a freeware ftp server. it has perfect reviews from all the big sites. and is a great ftp server. filezilla ftp server this is a very easy to use ftp server. to send files from one computer to another. port mapper freeware port mapper. a port mapper creates a server on your computer then you can redirect it to any port on another computers, via internet or lan. or to another port on your computer. join me (irc) join me is a freeware irc server.. very easy to use.. uses hardly any resources.. very fast and reliable.. uses all the commands.. easy set up.. squid proxy server squid is free and is embedded in many firewalls. and is used to speed internet up. it is kinda a pain to setup. but is the best proxy server out there that is freeware. simple proxy server this is analogX proxy server. it is very easy to setup and use. great for sharing a internet connection with a network on dialup. and it is also freeware. Messaging Servicesaol instant messenger aim is a freeware instant messaging service. you can im other people on aim or aol it also has file transfer and voice chat. aim encrypt this is a add on for aol instant messenger.. it makes your conversations encrypted.. so if someone bypasses your conversation they could not read it.. it makes your aim a secure messaging service.. the person your talking to has to have it also to work.. aim away box away box is a free enhancement for aim, it lets you make random away messages.. it has a countdown for when you will be back.. i have not tryed it yet.. looks kinda interesting... icq icq is a freeware instant messaging service with file transfer. yahoo instant messenger yahoo instant messenger is a freeware instant messaging service. with voicechat, voice im, and data transfer. with alerts for your yahoo mail. pidgin pidgin formaly known as (gaim) is a freeware IM organizer.. its pretty neat its a must download to can have AIM, yahoo, myspace, google talk, icq and others on one program. Web Browsersfirefox fire fox is the best free browser around it is a must download.. fastest & safest browser.. opera opera browser is another great freeware browser. that is secure also. k-meleon k-meleon is a free open source browser. using the same rendering engine as firefox. but it is a lot faster then firefox. firefox is getting better though. this is a great browser to try also. Security Programssygate firewall Sygate is a freeware firewall.. Its a really nice one.. It has a packet sniffer, server blocker.. and many other features.. I use this one. on my dial up connection.. if your on broadband, also get a external firewall.. they are inside routers. or you can buy them by there self.. comodo security suite comodo is one of the highest ranked, free firewalls out there. it is also a anti-virus. zonealarm zonealarm is a great free firewall it also has a server blocker, like sygate. but sygate is alot better firewall then zonealarm. zonealarm pro is good. but the free version is not so good. avg anti-virus this is a freeware anti-virus. it is a pretty good one. sdfix this is a free tool that removes virus's and cleans the registry. avast anti-virus this is a great little anti-virus. it gives you a 60 day trial. housecall free virus scan.. it runs on your browser.. coolwebshreeder this is a freeware hijacker remover.. it works really good ad-aware 2007 this is a freeware adware remover.. spybot this is a freeware spyware/adware remover.. its the bs that spys on you.. yeah.. download this you porn freak.. privacy shield this is a freeware program that detects keyloggers and spyware and alerts you. spysweeper spysweeper is a free spyware remover.. yes another one.. spyware blaster this is a freeware spyware tool. it does not remove spyware for you. it blocks known spyware sites. from even installing. threatfire ids this is a freeware intruder detection system. it has the highest rankings for freeware ids software. hijack this this is free software to list any add-ons on your browser that could be hijacking it. what process's that are running so advanced users can inspect what virus and spyware is on your computer. Mp3 Programsaudiocatalyst audiocatalyst is a shareware mp3 ripper, dont like putting cd after cd in changing songs. rip them play off your computer winvorbis winvorbis is a freeware ogg encoder.. ogg is 10 times better quality then mp3s.. you can make oggs from wavs wma and other audio formats.. it is a very good encoder.. winamp winamp is a freeware mp3 player, it has tons of plugins and skins. i think its the most common popular mp3 player. shoutcast shoutcast is a free plugin to winamp to broadcast your own music over the internet.. if your on high speed internet people can connect to you via your ip address and listen to your radio station id3 lab id3 lab is shareware. but how many times do you need to rename 2000 mp3s file names at same time from there id3 tag. this is a great program if your taking songs from the ipod and have to rename the files names. DVD burningdeep burner deep burner is a freeware data dvd maker. real easy to use drag and drop like windows explorer.. dvd shrink this rips dvd movies to either store on computer and run. or to make backup copys of your movies.. any dvd any dvd is freeware it runs in the background to remove copy protection on the disk as soon as its inserted. burn4free burn4free copys dvds makes music cds straight from mp3s and other formats. burns isos to cd. and is freeware..
