this is a very easy to setup web server to host your own website, from your own computer.

apache http server
this is a http server that most professional hosting sites use to host files. It can be harder to setup. but has tons of options.

this is a freeware ftp server. it has perfect reviews from all the big sites. and is a great ftp server.

filezilla ftp server
this is a very easy to use ftp server. to send files from one computer to another.

port mapper
freeware port mapper. a port mapper creates a server on your computer then you can redirect it to any port on another computers, via internet or lan. or to another port on your computer.

join me is a freeware irc server.. very easy to use.. uses hardly any resources.. very fast and reliable.. uses all the commands.. easy set up..

squid is free and is embedded in many firewalls. and is used to speed internet up. it is kinda a pain to setup. but is the best proxy server out there that is freeware.
